As a Telecom Provisioning Specialist, you’ll play a vital support role within the Communications Services team—responsible for provisioning internet circuits, VoIP systems, and telecom services with major US-based carriers. This non-customer-facing position focuses on internal coordination, order tracking, and issue resolution to ensure accurate, timely service delivery. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external vendors to support the deployment of secure and intelligent IT solutions across the country.
The role involves assisting the telecom department with the setup and activation of telecommunication services, including data circuits, voice services (UCaaS, CCaaS, SIP, PRI). This is an internal role focused on placing and managing orders with carriers and providers.

- Order Management & Coordination
- Submit and manage telecom orders (e.g., Internet circuits, VoIP, UCaaS, SIP trunks) with US based carriers
- Track and update order statuses using internal tools (ticketing systems, spreadsheets)
- Handle disconnection requests and circuit removals as needed
- Internal Communication & Collaboration
- Liaise with internal teams such as Project Management to relay order updates and escalations
- Attend daily stand-ups or syncs to align with ongoing project timelines and priorities
- Vendor & Carrier Relations
- Communicate with major US telecom vendors to address delays, technical issues, and escalations
- Review invoices and flag billing discrepancies for telecom expense validation
- Documentation & Process Management
- Maintain clean and accurate documentation of every provisioning step
- Ensure proper handoff to implementation and support teams
- Uphold compliance with telecom regulations (e.g., porting, E911 requirements)
- 2–4 years of experience in telecom provisioning, service delivery, or telco order coordination— ideally with exposure to US-based carriers (e.g., AT&T, Verizon, Lumen)
- Proven ability to submit and track telecom service orders such as Internet circuits, VoIP lines, SIP trunks, and UCaaS solutions
- Experience using ticketing systems, CRMs, or spreadsheets for managing and updating provisioning workflows
- Strong vendor management skills – able to coordinate directly with telco carriers to resolve delays, technical issues, or order discrepancies
- Familiarity with disconnects, removals, and telecom billing validation
- Comfortable collaborating across departments—especially with Project Managers or Implementation Teams—and participating in daily stand-ups or syncs
- Excellent documentation habits, with a strong eye for detail and accuracy
- Solid understanding of telecom compliance processes, including number porting and E911 requirements
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills in English
Technical Exposure:
- Knowledge of telecom product types such as VoIP, UCaaS, DIA, broadband, and SIP trunking
- Experience coordinating provisioning with multiple US telecom vendors simultaneously
- Prior work in a remote, US time zone-aligned environment
- Proficiency with tools like Salesforce, ConnectWise, ServiceNow, or other telco-specific platforms
- Basic understanding of telecom project coordination, such as scheduling installs, cutovers, or service migrations
