Asana’s Global Payroll team is seeking a detail-oriented and driven International Payroll Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, month end reporting, and payroll-related accounting activities across multiple international entities.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with payroll operations in at least 3–4 of the following regions: UK, Switzerland, Australia, Germany, Japan, Ireland, France, Singapore, or Iceland. This role requires a strong ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance with local regulations.

- Process and review international payrolls in collaboration with local in-country and third-party payroll vendors.
- Maintain payroll documentation and controls in accordance with internal audit and company compliance requirements.
- Serve as a point of contact for resolving complex payroll issues and employee inquiries. Perform audits to ensure payroll accuracy, tax compliance, and adherence to local labor laws and internal policies.
- Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations during the monthly close process.
- Support month-end and year-end payroll accounting close activities, including flux analysis. Collaborate on process improvements, automation projects, and global standardization initiatives.
- 3–5 years of international payroll experience, including hands-on work with at least 3–4 of the following countries: UK, Switzerland, Australia, Germany, Japan, Ireland, France, Singapore, or Iceland.
- Solid understanding of payroll accounting and financial reconciliation practices. Experience with global payroll systems and vendors.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to manipulate large data sets accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work cross-functionally with business partners and employees.
