As an experienced Case Manager, you hold a crucial position in our organization, dedicated to helping clients find the optimal debt relief solution. You will collaborate closely with our Debt Management Consultants and clients, assuming a critical role in alleviating their financial burdens. This will involve developing alternative payment plan proposals that are both affordable for our clients and meet the requirements set by the creditors. Your exceptional problem-solving skills will be instrumental in this process, all while ensuring strict adherence to our policies and relevant legislation.

  • Perform initial assessments to determine the suitability and eligibility of clients for selected debt management solutions. This involves carefully reviewing supporting documents to gain a comprehensive understanding of their financial situation and determine the most appropriate course of action.
  • Collaborate closely with and provide guidance to Debt Management Consultants, leveraging our collective expertise to ensure that we assist clients to the best of our abilities.
  • Utilize a comprehensive approach to establish manageable payment arrangements for clients, considering their total outstanding debt, household income, and expenses, ensuring that the proposed arrangements meet both the client's financial capabilities and the requirements set forth by the creditors.
  • Uphold strict compliance with the organization's policies and adhere to relevant legislative requirements in all decision-making processes. This includes consistently reviewing and aligning decisions with established policies, guidelines, and regulations to ensure that our actions are in full accordance with legal and internal standards.
  • Contribute to risk identification by promptly reporting any concerns or issues that arise during your interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate substantial experience as an Assessor, Case Manager, or in a similar role within the financial services sector.
  • Possess a strong track record of serving clients in Australia, demonstrating extensive experience and expertise in catering to the specific needs and requirements of Australian clients.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of personal financial documents and the ability to analyze them.
  • Ability to remain calm when dealing with high-pressure situations.
  • Experience working under pressure and towards set deadlines, effectively managing workload and prioritizing tasks.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both in written and verbal forms, displaying confidence when interacting with colleagues. Additionally, possess the initiative to proactively reach out to clients via phone calls, ensuring effective communication and obtaining any necessary missing information for case management purposes.
  • Demonstrate a remarkable ability to empathize with clients, fostering a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
