  • Prepare journal entries critical for the month-end close process, ensuring they are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform thorough monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
  • Analyze and review fluctuations in account balances to understand and report underlying causes.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries related to general ledger activities, providing detailed and accurate information.
  • Support the finance team during year-end audits and contribute to other monthly and annual reporting requirements to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Carry out additional duties and support ad hoc projects as needed within the accounting department.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports in a timely manner.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively address client and team inquiries.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and other regulatory standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CPA certification or candidacy is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the finance or accounting industry.
