Information System Security Officer (ISSO), TS/SCI - Talent Pipeline

What the work typically looks like

• Maintain the security posture of classified systems under RMF
• Prepare and update System Security Plans, POA&Ms, and ATO packages
• Review audit logs, run vulnerability scans, and track STIG compliance
• Coordinate with ISSMs, engineers, and government security staff

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI (required); polygraph a plus
• 3+ years in an ISSO, ISSE, or cyber compliance role
• DoD 8140/8570 IAM or IAT Level II certification (for example Security+ or CISSP)
• Working knowledge of NIST 800-53, ICD 503, and eMASS or XACTA

Typical compensation

$110,000 to $165,000 base depending on level. This is the typical market range for this role, not a specific offer.

Onsite in Northern Virginia. U.S. citizenship required for clearance.
