Job brief

We are seeking a Salesforce Data Migration Developer to execute data migration activities, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of data into Salesforce environments. This role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting data migration processes to support Salesforce implementations and upgrades.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute data migration plans from legacy systems to Salesforce
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data using tools like Data Loader, Informatica, MuleSoft, or custom scripts

  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and mapping rules

  • Perform data cleansing, validation, and deduplication to ensure data quality

  • Develop scripts and automation to streamline migration workflows

  • Conduct testing and reconciliation to verify data integrity after migration

  • Document migration processes, data mappings, and transformation logic

  • Support post-migration data issues and coordinate with technical teams to resolve them

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies throughout the migration lifecycle

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in data migration or ETL development, preferably with Salesforce projects

  • Proficiency with Salesforce data model, APIs, and data loading tools

  • Experience with SQL and data manipulation languages

  • Knowledge of data quality best practices, including cleansing and deduplication techniques

  • Familiarity with integration tools like MuleSoft or Informatica is a plus

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Experience in telco/media projects
  • Good understanding of telco terminology and processess
  • Based in USA/Europe (due to time-zone) and/or 100% committed to working in customer time-zone(including a possible night-shift arrangement
