Salesforce Order Management Business Analyst (Vlocity/Communications Cloud)

Job brief

We are seeking a Business Analyst with hands-on experience in Salesforce Industries Order Management (OM) to support the successful delivery of large-scale telecom transformation programs. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define and manage business requirements related to order capture, decomposition, orchestration, and fulfillment within the Vlocity Communications Cloud ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements related to Salesforce Industries Order Management
• Analyze current-state order management processes and support the design of target-state solutions using Vlocity Communications Cloud
• Translate telecom business needs into clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and process models
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, and test teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Support order capture design, including product catalog structure, decomposition rules, and fulfillment workflows
• Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize features and manage product backlog in alignment with delivery goals
• Assist in defining data mapping, integration requirements, and exception handling scenarios
• Contribute to test planning and execution, including validation of order flows, decomposition, and orchestration logic
• Facilitate workshops, demos, and user training sessions where needed

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on Salesforce or telecom CRM/BSS projects
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) Order Management
• Strong understanding of order-to-activate processes in telecom (mobile, broadband, fiber, etc.)
• Familiarity with Communications Cloud product modeling, catalog structures, and order orchestration flows
• Experience working in Agile environments with tools like Jira and Confluence
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Industries Business Analyst) are a plus
