Job brief

We are seeking a Salesforce UX Designer and a Lead Designer (two separate roles) with a strong portfolio of user-centered design work across Salesforce Experience Cloud implementations. This role is responsible for designing intuitive, elegant, and responsive customer and partner-facing digital experiences. Candidates with both intermediate and senior-level experience are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of UX principles, Salesforce capabilities, and industry-specific user journeysparticularly in telecom or other subscription-based domains.

Responsibilities

  • Design engaging, accessible, and responsive user interfaces for Salesforce Experience Cloud portals
  • Translate business and user requirements into wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand needs and co-create solutions
  • Define and maintain design systems and UI guidelines that align with branding and Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS)
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to validate and refine designs
  • Support the development team during implementation, ensuring designs are accurately translated into functioning components
  • Advocate for a user-centered approach throughout the design and development lifecycle

Additional responsibilities for Lead Designer:

  • Lead the overall UX design strategy across multiple Experience Cloud programs or products
  • Mentor and guide junior designers and developers on UX best practices and interaction design
  • Own design governance, establish scalable design systems, and align UX goals with business objectives
  • Work closely with client stakeholders and executive sponsors to present design concepts and drive experience-led innovation

Requirements

  • 3+ years (Designer) / 6+ years (Lead Designer) of experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on web applications or portals
  • Strong portfolio showcasing responsive design work, preferably involving Salesforce Experience Cloud or similar platforms
  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools, and familiarity with prototyping and design handoff workflows
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and how design translates to Salesforce Lightning Components
  • Experience with telecom, utilities, or subscription services user journeys is highly desirable
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) and Experience Cloud capabilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Additional responsibilities for Lead Designer:

  • Experience leading cross-functional design efforts across large-scale Experience Cloud programs
  • Ability to set UX vision, develop strategy, and influence product direction through design thinking
  • Leadership in agile teams and design operations, including backlog grooming and sprint planning

In addition an ideal candidate would:

  • Be based in USA/Europe (due to time-zone) and/or 100% committed to working in customer time-zone(including a possible night-shift arrangement
  • Have experience designing B2C Customer, B2B Customer or Partner portal in telecommunication industry
