Komforce Pty Ltd (ABN 33 681 362 658) (“Komforce”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects the privacy of individuals who apply for roles through our career pages (www.komforce.com/careers and https://www.careers-page.com/komforce) or other job boards where we advertise.
We are committed to protecting personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and manage the personal information of job applicants and candidates.
This policy also applies to general visitors to our website, including in relation to the cookies and analytics described in Section 9.

- Technical and usage information: When you visit our website and have accepted optional analytics cookies, we may collect information such as your device and browser type, approximate location, pages viewed, and how you interact with the site. See Section 9 for details.
2. How We Collect Your Information
We collect personal information:
- Directly from you when you submit an application via our career pages or job boards.
From third parties, such as job boards, recruitment agencies, or professional networking platforms (e.g., LinkedIn).
From referees or other individuals you have authorised to provide information.
3. Purpose of Collection
We collect, hold, and use personal information for the following purposes:
-
To assess your suitability for employment opportunities.
-
To communicate with you during the recruitment process.
-
To maintain a database of candidates for current and future roles.
-
To fulfil our contractual, legal, or regulatory obligations.
4. Disclosure of Personal Information
We may disclose your personal information to:
-
Our clients or business partners, for roles you have applied for or been shortlisted for.
-
Third-party service providers, such as applicant tracking systems or background-check providers, who assist us in recruitment activities.
-
Government or regulatory authorities where required by law.
We will never sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Overseas Disclosure
Due to the nature of our recruitment services, we may disclose your personal information to clients or partners located outside Australia. By submitting your application, you acknowledge and consent to such disclosures, understanding that foreign entities may not be subject to the same privacy laws as Australia.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to complete the recruitment process or as required by law. If you wish to have your personal information removed from our database, you can contact us (see Section 10).
7. Your Rights Under the Privacy Act
Under the Privacy Act and the APPs, you have the right to:
-
Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
-
Request corrections to ensure your personal information is accurate, up to date, and complete.
-
Withdraw consent for us to use or retain your personal information (subject to legal or contractual requirements).

8. Security of Your Information
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. However, no online data transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Cookies and Website Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. These fall into two categories:
- Essential cookies, which are required for the website to function and are always active.
- Optional analytics cookies, which only activate if you accept them through our cookie banner.
You can decline these. You can also change your choice at any time by clearing your browser cookies for our site.
When you accept optional analytics, we use the following third-party tools:
- Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google LLC). This collects information about how you use the site, including pages visited, time on page, approximate location based on a truncated IP address, device and browser type, and a randomly generated identifier stored in cookies. We use this to understand traffic and improve the website.
- Microsoft Clarity (provided by Microsoft Corporation). This records how visitors interact with our pages, including mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and session replays, and produces heatmaps. We have enabled masking so that text entered into fields and other sensitive content is hidden from these recordings. We use this to understand navigation and fix usability issues.
These providers process data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States. By accepting optional analytics cookies, you consent to this overseas disclosure. Each provider handles your data under its own terms:
- Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Microsoft: https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement
We do not use these tools to identify you personally and we do not sell this information. If you decline analytics cookies, these tools are not loaded and no analytics data is collected.
10. Bot Protection and Website Security
To protect our website and online forms against automated abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot detection tool provided by Cloudflare, Inc. Turnstile runs in the background and does not ask you to solve a puzzle or tick a box.
To tell genuine visitors apart from bots, Turnstile processes a limited set of technical signals, such as your IP address, browser User-Agent, and a TLS fingerprint. Cloudflare states it cannot directly identify individuals from these signals, and they are used only to detect and block automated traffic, not to profile or track you. Some of this processing takes place on Cloudflare's infrastructure outside Australia, including in the United States.
Because Turnstile is a security measure, it operates regardless of your analytics cookie choice.
Cloudflare's handling of this data is set out in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum: https://www.cloudflare.com/en-gb/turnstile-privacy-policy/

12. Updates to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The latest version will always be published on this page with an updated effective date.
13. Candidate Consent
By applying for a role through our career pages or job boards, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
