Role and Responsibilities:

As a Senior PHP Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in leading the development and maintenance of our robust backend infrastructure. You'll work closely with our cross-functional team to design, implement, and optimize features that ensure the seamless operation of our platform. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the collaboration with our team to understand product requirements and translating them into technical specifications.

  • Developing efficient, scalable, and maintainable PHP code using the Laravel framework to support our messaging and customer signal processing solutions.

  • Expertise in working with Socket.IO connections to build real-time messaging features for our application.

  • Integrating data storage solutions using MySQL and MongoDB, ensuring data consistency and reliability.

  • Collaborating with front-end developers to design APIs that enable smooth communication between the front-end and backend systems.

  • Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and other technical challenges.

  • Leading code reviews, maintaining high code quality, and enforcing best practices.

  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our platform.

Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in PHP development with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.

  • Extensive experience with the Laravel framework, showcasing your ability to architect complex systems.

  • Experience with MySQL and MongoDB, including database design and optimization.

  • Familiarity with Node.js for certain backend tasks and APIs.

  • Demonstrated experience working with Socket.IO to build real-time communication features.

  • Prior experience with SaaS technologies, showcasing an understanding of the unique challenges and solutions within the SaaS ecosystem.

  • Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices.

  • Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.

  • Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with other programming languages, such as JavaScript and React.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms particularly Google Cloud.

  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

Job Type: Contractor-Fulltime-Remote
Salary Range: 2000$ Brüt
