Job Title: Full Stack Instructor for MERN Stack

Job Description:

Clarusway IT School is hiring a Full-Stack Instructor. The instructor is responsible for the instruction and support of the students in our full stack engineering program. In addition, this position supports key operational functions of the school, including supporting the Team Lead.

An ideal candidate for this role is someone passionate about education and technology with a strong technical background. It is crucial that a candidate is not only experienced with foundational web technologies in a professional capacity but also can convey that information through leadership and empathy. As an instructor, you will be on the team responsible for guiding each cohort of students from the early stages of the program through graduation.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver high-quality lectures and workshops to teach students the fundamentals of MERN Stack development

- Develop and maintain course materials including syllabus, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments

- Provide feedback and mentorship to students to help them improve their coding skills

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in MERN Stack development and integrate them into the curriculum

- Work closely with the curriculum development team to ensure the course content is up-to-date and relevant

- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment

- Participate in student recruitment and admissions processes

- Assist with career services to help students prepare for job interviews and find employment after the bootcamp

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in MERN Stack (MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS, NodeJS) including other skills essential for Full Stack developers such as TypeScript, SASS, Bootstrap, Firebase, NextJs

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Strong passion for teaching and mentoring students

- Experience with curriculum development and instructional design is a plus

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
