Korzen Health seeks a full-time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to lead the Wound Care Clinic program in the Ozark, AL market area, in collaboration with Dale Medical Center.

Dale Medical Center is an 89-bed acute care facility, with a qualified medical staff specializing in internal medicine, family practice, cardiology, psychiatry, pediatrics, radiology, ENT, emergency medicine, orthopedic surgery, general and endoscopic surgery. With the support of the medical staff the hospital offers services to include a medical unit, surgical unit, ICU, New Day behavior unit for geriatrics and adults, New Vision medical stabilization for addictions, rehabilitation beds, Community Hospice, Dale Medical Center Home Health, and Same Day Surgery Center. The Emergency Room is staffed 24 hours a day with very qualified physicians and nurses all, trained and certified with advanced life support skills. We are especially proud that our ER has been recognized and is included in an elite group of hospitals in the nation as a recipient of the 2016 Women's Choice Award for America's Best Emergency Care.
This position is based in our dedicated outpatient wound care clinic and is exclusively dedicated to procedural wound care. This is a procedure-oriented environment primarily serving geriatric patients.
The successful candidate must possess at least 1 year of procedural background. Experience with minor procedures such as suturing, debridement, and/or incision and drainage (I&D) is required, and procedural case logs will be requested as part of the credentialing process. Other types of non-dermatological procedural experience may also be acceptable on a case-by-case basis.
Scope of Practice Highlights
- We offer advanced wound-care treatments to promote healing, including: cellulitis therapy, compression therapy, infection management and prevention, wound cleaning, and wound dressing (No HBO on-site)
- Teams will average approximately 140-160 encounters per month, with three staff members are present on site
Standard work hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with one-half day on Friday. There are no night shifts, on-call responsibilities, or weekend hours
- Training will be provided
Experience Requirements
Clean and Active State license
Must be a Certified Nurse Practitioner
DEA License
Minimum of 1 year of NP experience is a must
Must have procedural experience - simple sutures, incision and drainage (I&D), etc.
Benefits/Compensation
- Compensation consists of a base salary and a quarterly bonus. The total annual compensation ranges from $115,000 to $155,000 for full-time employees.
