Psychiatrist - J1/H1B

Korzen Health is currently partnered with a leading, physician-owned and physician-led psychiatry medical group. With a strong presence across 9 states, over 55 hospitals, nearly 20 clinics, and 300+ providers.

We are seeking a dedicated, board-certified Psychiatrist to join our team in Gadsden, AL. This full-time position offers a dynamic blend of both inpatient and outpatient care, with half-days dedicated to each setting, Monday through Friday. Additionally, the role includes one weekend of call per month and provides the opportunity to work closely with mid-level providers to deliver comprehensive mental health care. Position Details:

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday
• Half-day: Outpatient care
• Half-day: Inpatient care
• On-Call: One weekend per month
• Setting: Mix of inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, emphasizing collaborative and integrated care
• Responsibilities: Conduct psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, and consultative services in collaboration with mid-level providers.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO in Psychiatry
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
• Licensed to practice in Alabama (or eligible for licensure)
• J-1 and H-1B visa candidates are encouraged to apply

Requirements:

• Education Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and/or Neurology
• Experience Minimum of 3 years experience in working with patient population hired to serve (child, adolescent, adult, or geriatric)
• Current valid license in AL and unrestricted DEA registration
