We are on behalf of our client looking for a Planner - Construction for a project at Stord, Norway.

Responsibilities and tasks:

Overseeing project schedules for all construction disciplines throughout all phases.
Planning and calculating the number of personnel needed on modules during different assembly stages.
Ensuring compliance with project requirements and company procedures.
Managing schedules and resources for specific disciplines.
Implementing projects to improve work efficiency.
Maintaining a high focus on personnel density.
Monitoring progress based on the approved schedule.
Controlling schedule changes due to delays, resource limitations, or other factors.
Performing re-scheduling as necessary to secure the overall project timeline.
Analyzing impacts of changes on disciplines and staffing.

Qualifications and personal attributes:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Piping or EIT engineering. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
Background from Piping, EIT or Methods, as the job involves planning installations.
Multidisciplinary knowledge from the oil & gas industry, particularly in Piping and EIT.
Strong understanding of time management and staffing to maintain control over modules and personnel.
Capability to address complex problems by integrating skills from different disciplines to develop comprehensive solutions.
Ability to acquire detailed knowledge of the project scope and manage various disciplines within planning and methods.
Good communicative skills in English (Norwegian a plus) and team player
Proficiency in Office 365 and general IT tools. Familiarity with MIPS and Naviswork is a plus.
Valid work permit in Norway (or being located within the EU)
