We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a company with over 15 years of experience in project management. The company is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer with renewables experience to join their wind park project team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise LV, MV, and HV electrical works;
- Review plans and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements;
- Develop project timelines and obtain necessary permits for construction readiness;
- Liaise with DSO, TSO, and ANRE regarding grid connection and permitting issues;
- Monitor project deliverables and progress;
- Manage and supervise on-site works;
- Keep relevant stakeholders and team members updated on project status;
- Coach, manage, and support project team members in their tasks;
- Responsible for day-to-day management of ongoing projects;
- Optimize and implement permits, design, and construction processes;
- Provide technical guidance to designers, supervisors, inspectors, and contractors related to MEP systems installation and maintenance;
- Analyze mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering problems and propose solutions;
- Identify design issues, manage multiple projects, and ensure timely delivery;
- Continuously review the contractors construction schedule related to MEP works and report to the Project Manager;
- Advise on LEED certification requirements and ensure necessary documentation is submitted to authorities;
- Review contractors installation method statements;
- Prepare technical clarifications for tendered designs to address specific on-site construction and coordination issues;
- Attend project, site progress, and technical meetings as directed by the Project Manager.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering with knowledge of installation design;
- Ability to work independently with remote management and take full responsibility for project delivery;
- Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising safety or quality;
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and methodical work approach;
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills;
- Good command of English (spoken and written);
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD;
- Minimum 3 years experience in engineering services, construction, design, and/or grid connection works;
- Minimum 3 years experience in HV works and HV stations;
- ANRE certification (IIA+IIB / IIIA+IIIB / IVA+IVB) is a plus.
