We are recruiting on behalf of an international beauty & personal care company, headquartered in Poland and recognized as a market leader in its home country. With a diverse and trend-driven portfolio of skin, hair, and facial care products, the company is currently undergoing an ambitious expansion across the Romanian market. Their brands are known for combining natural ingredients with innovative formulas and are already well-established in top retailers across Central and Eastern Europe.
Your Role
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing strategic retail and pharma accounts across Romania. You will act as the key commercial contact between the company and its retail/pharmacy partners, with a strong focus on sales growth, visibility, and long-term partnerships. This is a pivotal role in the company s local development and offers great growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts across national and regional pharmacy chains, modern trade, and mass-market retailers
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with retail partners
- Negotiate and implement annual agreements and promotional strategies
Sales & Forecasting
- Set and track sales targets and forecasts per client and brand
- Work closely with demand planning to ensure stock availability
- Analyze sell-in/sell-out data to identify opportunities and address performance gaps
Trade Marketing Execution
- Ensure execution of in-store visibility campaigns and product positioning
- Collaborate with field and marketing teams for campaign implementation
- Monitor planogram compliance and promotional effectiveness
Internal Coordination & Reporting
- Provide regular performance reports and market insights
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, finance) to align business goals
- Stay updated on competitor activity and market trends
What Were Looking For
- University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Key Account Management, preferably in FMCG, cosmetics, or pharma retail
- Proven track record with partners like DM, Tei Group, Dr. Max, Kaufland, Carrefour
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and analytical skills
- Proficient in Excel and MS Office
- Fluency in Romanian and English
- Driving license (Category B)
