We are recruiting on behalf of an international beauty & personal care company, headquartered in Poland and recognized as a market leader in its home country. With a diverse and trend-driven portfolio of skin, hair, and facial care products, the company is currently undergoing an ambitious expansion across the Romanian market. Their brands are known for combining natural ingredients with innovative formulas and are already well-established in top retailers across Central and Eastern Europe.
Your Role
As Trade Marketing Manager, you will drive the visibility and performance of the company s brands in-store across all retail channels. You ll act as a key connector between marketing and sales translating brand strategies into engaging, high-impact in-store campaigns and shopper activations. This is a vital role for boosting brand presence, enhancing shopper experience, and increasing sell-out performance in a dynamic and competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Channel & Shopper Strategy
Develop tailored trade marketing plans for each retail channel (pharma, modern trade, mass market)
Analyze shopper behavior to optimize engagement and purchase conversion
Align strategies with brand positioning and business priorities - Promotion Planning & Execution
Design and roll out consumer promotions and account-specific activations
Manage the national trade calendar in sync with sales cycles and marketing goals
Monitor results and optimize based on ROI and shopper response - POSM & In-Store Visibility
Lead development and distribution of all POS materials (displays, testers, shelf signage, etc.)
Ensure strong brand presence and compliance with planograms in key locations
Conduct store checks and evaluate visibility execution - Retail Campaigns & Launches
Coordinate in-store events, product demos, and sampling programs
Partner with agencies and merchandising teams to implement campaigns
Support new product introductions with creative and timely in-store execution - Budget & Performance Tracking
Manage trade marketing budgets effectively and transparently
Track KPIs such as ROI, sell-out uplift, execution rate
Provide regular reporting and recommend improvements where needed
What Were Looking For
- University degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in trade/shopper marketing, preferably in cosmetics, pharma, or FMCG
- Experience with major retail and pharma partners (e.g., DM, Tei, Dr. Max, Kaufland, Carrefour)
- Strong project management, strategic thinking, and creative execution skills
- Fluent in Romanian and English
