We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a company with over 15 years of experience in project management. The company is currently looking for a Civil Works Site Manager Site Supervisor with renewables experience to join their wind park project team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise civil works on site;
  • Review plans and specifications according to plan;
  • Set project timeline and permitting to attain construction readiness
  • Liaison with Public Entities during construction;
  • Monitor project deliverables;
  • Works management and supervision;
  • Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project's progress;
  • Coach, manage and support project team members with tasks you assign them;
  • Accountability for day-to-day management of existing projects;
  • Managing optimization and implementation of Permits, Design and Construction;
  • Provide technical advice to staff designer, supervisor, inspector, and contracting service provider, regarding Civil Works;
  • Analyze construction engineering problems and formulate solutions;
  • Identify problems in design, planning, managing and delivering multiple projects;
  • Continually review the contractors construction schedule during the progress of the site works with regards to civil works and report to the Project Manager on the same;
  • Review the Contractors installation method statements.
  • Where required prepare technical clarifications to the tendered design to suit specific on-site construction and coordination issues;
  • Attend project, site progress, and any mechanical services-related technical meetings as directed by the project manager.


What we are looking for:

  • Degree-level qualifications in Civil Engineering with knowledge in Industrial project Design;
  • Ability to work independently with remote management and take responsibility for project delivery;
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines without compromising safety or quality;
  • Strong attention to detail, accurate and methodical in work;
  • Strong verbal, written and organizational skills;
  • Good command of English (spoken and written);
  • Computing skills, MS Office & MS Project and AutoCAD;
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the supervision and/orconstruction and/or Design of Wind or Solar Farms
