We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join a dynamic and future-focused company that provides comprehensive equipment supply and technical support services to Utilities, EPC Contractors, and Independent Power Producers (IPPs). The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our growth in the Romanian energy sector by building strong client relationships, developing tailored technical solutions, and driving strategic sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Romanian energy market;
  • Manage the entire sales cycle for HV/MV equipment, systems, and integrated solutions from prospecting to contract closure;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including utilities, EPC contractors, regulators, IPPs, and large industrial energy consumers;
  • Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals that meet client requirements;
  • Negotiate and finalize high-value contracts, ensuring alignment with both client needs and company objectives;
  • Collaborate with technical and project teams to design customized solutions and ensure successful project execution;
  • Stay informed on industry regulations, market trends, and upcoming challenges in the Romanian energy sector;
  • Represent the company at client meetings, industry conferences, and other relevant events.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters degree is a plus);
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in the energy sector, ideally focused on HV/MV equipment and systems;
  • Strong knowledge of the Romanian energy market, including regulatory frameworks and market structure;
  • Proven track record in business development, strategic sales, and managing long sales cycles for technical solutions;
  • Established professional network within the Romanian energy sector;
  • Experience in preparing and presenting proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing high-value deals;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team;
  • Native Romanian speaker with fluency in English (written and spoken);
  • Willingness to travel across Romania for client visits and project-related activities.
