Amazon Listings Team Manager (35-person team)
Role summary
Were hiring a Team Lead to run day-to-day operations for our Amazon listings team (35 people across three levels). Level 1 creates new listings (8 writers, 2 designers, 1 proof checker, 1 uploader). Levels 2 and 3 optimize existing listings (copy, images, A+ content, and video). This person will keep work flowing smoothly, maintain quality standards, and own catalog compliance and issue resolution with Amazon.
Key responsibilities
Plan, prioritize, and assign work across Levels 1–3 with clear weekly targets.
Track and report performance metrics (throughput, accuracy, acceptance rate, rework).
Hire, onboard, train, and coach team members; provide feedback and performance management.
Own catalog quality standards: titles, bullets, backend fields, images, A+, variations, and related assets.
Manage Amazon casework and compliance needs (item details, suppressions, policy issues) until resolved.
Maintain a clean production tracker (owners, status, ASINs, issues, deadlines).
Ideal background
Strong understanding of how Amazon listings should look and perform (content structure, compliance, conversion).
Marketing + writing/editing experience (clear, concise, persuasive copy).
Proven team leadership in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Highly organized and detail-focused; strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
Comfortable in Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central.
What success looks like
Steady weekly output, low error/rework rates, improved listing quality and compliance, and faster resolution of Amazon-related issues.
