Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of nursing care within our facility. This is a key leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, ensuring high-quality care is delivered to all residents
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations
- Manage and coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage at all times
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for nursing staff
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to nursing care
- Oversee the maintenance of accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes

Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of Texas.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting
- In-depth knowledge of resident rights, Medicare guidelines, and medical terminology
- Strong understanding of physiology and medical conditions commonly seen in long-term care settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and promote a positive work environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to review documentation for accuracy and completeness
