Automation Tester ( Python)

We are looking for Automation Testers (Python) to join our QA team in Penang. The role focuses on designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions to ensure software quality across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. You will collaborate closely with developers and global teams to deliver high-quality, reliable software.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation test scripts.

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers for timely resolution.
• Perform test case design, execution, and defect reporting using standard QA processes.
• Validate software features, APIs, and system workflows against requirements.
• Participate in test planning, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Debug issues through log analysis and structured troubleshooting techniques.
• Collaborate with local and global teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Requirements: 

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in software testing or automation testing.

• Strong Python programming skills for test automation.

• Good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.

• Experience in test case design, execution, and defect tracking.

• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a fast-paced team environment.

• Good communication skills and a proactive, quality-focused mindset.
