Senior System Solutions Specialist - DENODO & KNIME Expert

Looking for a Senior Specialist System Engineering to lead the design and development of data workflows using KNIME and virtual data models with Denodo, supporting advanced analytics and seamless data integration.

Key Responsibilities:

KNIME Workflow Development

• Build and manage ETL workflows using KNIME for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Create workflows for analytics, feature engineering, and ML data preparation.
• Ensure data accuracy through quality checks and validation steps.
• Develop user-friendly dashboards and data apps using KNIME Server.

Data Virtualization with Denodo

• Design virtual data models and views on the Denodo platform.
• Connect and integrate data from various sources like databases, APIs, and cloud storage.
• Tune SQL/VQL queries for better performance and scalability.
• Manage user access and enforce security policies in Denodo.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Innovation

• Work closely with analysts, developers, and business users to understand data needs.
• Contribute across the full project lifecycle from planning to deployment and support.
• Stay current with new features in KNIME, Denodo, and data engineering trends.
• Support documentation and promote good data governance practices.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's/Masters in CS, IT, or related field with 3+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in KNIME and Denodo platforms preferred.
• Strong SQL knowledge and familiarity with Oracle, MSSQL, MongoDB.
• Skilled in Python and JavaScript for application scripting.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and system design.
• Familiarity with OpenShift/Kubernetes for containerized deployment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Background in semiconductor/electronic manufacturing is a plus.
