We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in Banking IT to lead and deliver technology projects across the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing project delivery, coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors, overseeing testing activities, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple IT projects from initiation through implementation and post-production support.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Track project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
- Oversee the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including test planning, execution, defect management, and sign-off.
- Facilitate defect review meetings with business users, vendors, and IT teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with offshore development teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance, regulatory requirements, and project documentation standards.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of IT Project Management experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience managing Banking IT projects.
- Successfully delivered at least two end-to-end project implementations.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Experience managing UAT, SIT, testing coordination, and defect management.
- Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, budgeting, and reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with offshore development teams and external vendors.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certifications will be an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Banking domain knowledge with experience in core banking, digital banking, payments, or regulatory projects.
- Hands-on experience using project management and reporting tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, or Azure DevOps.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
