Business Analyst ( Insurance)

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Insurance domain expertise to support digital transformation and system enhancement initiatives. The role involves bridging business stakeholders and Agile delivery teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, compliant, and delivered effectively.

Position Type : Contract 

Responsibilities :

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Facilitate business workshops, process mapping sessions, and gap analysis with stakeholders.
• Work closely with Product Owners and Agile teams to support backlog grooming and sprint planning.
• Coordinate with developers, QA, and business users to ensure accurate requirement implementation.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including test scenario preparation, execution support, and defect triage.
• Ensure solutions align with insurance regulatory and operational requirements.
• Assist in go-live activities, production support, and change management.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Visio.

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience within the Insurance domain (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of insurance policy lifecycle, claims, billing, and endorsements.

• Proven experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments.

• Hands-on experience with Insurance Policy Administration Systems (PAS).
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Visio for requirement tracking and documentation. 

• Understanding of APIs and digital insurance platforms.

• Familiarity with MAS regulations and compliance requirements.

• Experience supporting insurance digital transformation initiatives.
