Lead Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI, Machine Learning, and advanced analytics solutions that solve complex business challenges and drive strategic outcomes.
• Translate business requirements into data-driven problem statements and develop predictive, prescriptive, and Generative AI models using modern AI technologies.
• Drive end-to-end AI/ML project delivery, including data exploration, feature engineering, model development, validation, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
• Lead the development of advanced use cases such as anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, planning optimization, customer experience enhancement, and intelligent automation.
• Mentor, coach, and provide technical leadership to a team of data scientists, ensuring high-quality deliverables and continuous capability development.
• Collaborate with business leaders, engineering teams, platform engineers, and external partners to deliver scalable AI solutions with measurable business impact.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement emerging AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and analytics technologies while driving innovation through research and proof-of-concepts.
• Establish AI/ML best practices, governance, model performance standards, and technical roadmaps to support enterprise-wide AI adoption.

Key Requirements 

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics, including experience leading enterprise AI initiatives.
• Strong expertise in statistical modeling, supervised and unsupervised learning, time series forecasting, NLP, deep learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Advanced programming skills in Python, PySpark, SQL, and experience with Jupyter/Zeppelin Notebooks and big data platforms.
• Proven experience designing, deploying, and optimizing production-scale AI/ML models using MLOps and cloud-based AI platforms.
• Experience leading technical teams, mentoring data scientists, and managing AI/ML projects in Agile environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business insights.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for driving innovation through AI, Machine Learning, and data-driven decision-making.
