UX / UI Designer

As a UX/UI Designer, you will collaborate with different departments across the organization to understand Kuonas goals and use your skills to be able to plan research studies, illustrate design ideas, create prototypes, test them, and be able to ideate solutions. Apply UX concepts such as user-centered design and accessibility. You will be responsible for making sure the user experience is optimized. We need a person with a passion for product design and user experience, someone who has a great eye for detail and a good understanding of user experience and product design.

Key Responsibilities

• As part of our Engineering team, you will assist our product owner in delivering beautiful, thoughtful, and useful work that has a real impact on our clients businesses.

• Maintain a neutral role, analytically minded, and focused on user needs.

• Listen to all stakeholders, know business needs, and be aligned with the engineering team.

• Learn and understand current user behavior of our internal tools to contribute to the alignment of business objectives.

• Build prototypes, assisting in user research and usability testing.

• Create conceptual models, journey maps, interaction flows, wireframes, and style guidelines.

• Drive your designs from concept flows/wireframes to functional high-definition visual design.

• Assist developers with design handoff.

• Iterate solutions based on customer data, interactions, and feedback.

• Work on internal marketing-related design projects.

Requirements

• UX/UI design experience.

• A final user-oriented mindset.

• A creative mindset and a strong passion for product design.

• A strong UX/UI portfolio that shows conceptual design thinking for web and digital apps.

• Curiosity, humbleness, and a willingness to try, fail, learn, and try again.

• Knowledge of design patterns, design frameworks, or systems (Material design, Fluent, Flat design, ).

• Tooling expertise (Figma).

• Good knowledge of design composition and color theory.

• Extra points for HTML/CSS and graphic/Print Design skills.

• Experience with Javascript

• Analyze user comments and data to improve the user experience

• Great attention to detail

• Customer success-oriented

• Understanding of visual design programs such as Photoshop, Quartz, Sketch, Illustrator, UXPin, InVision, etc.

• Full-time and hybrid availability.

• Fluency in English is a must
