Role Expectations

*All the below-mentioned tasks would be key to your role. The following requirements are not mentioned in order of priority.

  • Support in the design of A/B tests and field experiments to evaluate the impact of program tweaks (curriculum, training, delivery models, etc.) on teacher and student outcomes.

  • Assist in planning and executing rapid experiments, including preparation of tools, protocols, coordination with field teams etc.

  • Work with programs and data teams to ensure high-quality data collection.

  • Support the analysis and interpretation of experiment results real-time, and ensure key learnings are integrated into program design.

  • Study leading SEL, education, and systems change programs globally and draw insights relevant to Indian and Labhyas partner states context.

  • Identify best practices and innovations (tech and non-tech) that can be adapted to strengthen the planning and execution of experiments.

  • Contribute ideas on how different elements - curriculum, teacher training, facilitation methods, program design etc. can be tested and improved.

  • Contribute to knowledge products (presentations, case studies, dashboards) to share insights with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Document processes, observations, and outcomes from experiments to build institutional learning.

  • Help nurture a culture of continuous learning, reflection, and iteration within the organization.

Educational Qualification

Bachelors or Masters degree in any field.


Experience

  • 1+ year of experience working in the field of education research, user design or program evaluation & implementation.

  • Prior exposure working in a fast-paced, learning-oriented environment where iteration and reflection are valued.

  • Strong communication skills to align stakeholders and drive product adoption.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Forms).

  • Fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken); knowledge of Bengali or Gujarati is a plus.

  • Strong interest in Social Emotional Learning (SEL), mental health, and psychosocial development.

  • A self-starter who acts with urgency and can find effective solutions to complex challenges.

  • Detail-oriented, curious, and excited by working with large datasets to derive meaningful insights.

  • Comfortable with frequent travel and being on-ground to support Labhya's programs and research.

  • Open to experimentation, learning, and collaboration in a fast-moving, purpose-driven environment.

  • Deeply committed to integrity, transparency, and trust in both process and relationships.
