A local well established company and largest manufacturer of custom designed traditional post-and-beam prefab smart & regular homes is looking to add to its dynamic warehouse team immediately. Job Summary:

The main purpose of the Order/Lumber Puller is to safely process, pull, band, and load orders scheduled for delivery according to customer specifications. You will be working on custom home fabricated pieces so having general knowledge of construction, lumber, &/or warehouse experience is preferred.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Correctly pull, stage and load building material orders in a safe and respectful manner.

• Operate yard equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently.

• Complete and return all paperwork to the Yard Supervisor for processing.

• Stocks building materials and maintains yards.

• Must meet company production requirements.

• Count and reconcile inbound and outbound orders.

• Develop a working knowledge of all products.

• Complete a daily inspection report for all equipment used.

• Help maintain the general appearance and maintenance of the branch facility.

• Attend and actively participate in all safety and team meetings.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work under time constraints and deadlines.  

• Must have the ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.   

• Ability to handle stress especially when encountering necessary projects, deadlines and/or high workload.  

• Must have ability to read and understand written instructions in English.

Minimum Requirements:

• Entry level position - will train

• Forklift Operation Experience strongly desired

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred
