What youll do:
Marble is looking for a Product Designer. You will be someone who can craft friendly experiences that delight and educate our members and enterprise clients. Our products empower users with the tools and knowledge to make informed decisions about their insurance. These innovative user experiences span web, responsive web, iOS, and Android platforms.
Working directly with Marbles CTO and Sr. Product Manager, you will be our first full-time design hire; but youll be supported with the guidance of a number of industry-leading veteran designers. Youll also partner closely with Marbles front-end engineers in this role.
The ideal candidate is someone who is looking for growth and ownership in their design career, comfortable in execution, and has experience designing and communicating information-dense topics. They are eager to push the envelope of great consumer-focused design.
About You:
You have 2-4 years of professional Product Design experience
You have experience designing consumer-facing mobile and web products
You have a healthy understanding of various user research methods
Youve excelled in fast-paced, ambiguous environments - particularly by organizing yourself and others with strong and flexible frameworks and processes
You have demonstrated success designing responsive web and mobile applications
Youre able to communicate ideas to collaborate with Product and Engineering
Youre able to share a clear, strong portfolio showcasing problem-solving skills and attention to detail
A strong fluency in Figma and typical prototyping tools
Responsibilities:
Interpret and distill complex strategies and requirements to visually depict a user experience that delights and educates users
Create wireframes and prototypes that illustrate key product flows, interactions, and features
Demonstrate an understanding of design systems and interaction patterns to ensure brand, visual and interactive cohesion across products, platforms, and scenarios
Partner with Product and Engineering to continue building and maintaining our existing design system
Identify user needs through various UX research methods
Discover opportunities to improve UI/UX to drive key business outcomes throughout the platform
