Housekeeping: Lifestyle Service

Job Purpose:

To assist in linen and laundry operations by ensuring the proper handling, distribution, and cleanliness of all linens. Support the housekeeping and laundry teams in maintaining high standards of hygiene and efficiency to meet guest and operational needs.

Key Result Areas:

  • Handle the collection, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens, ensuring adherence to Lifestyle Service's cleanliness and efficiency standards.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the linen room and laundry areas, following proper sanitation procedures.
  • Assist in tracking linen inventory and reporting any shortages, damages, or losses to the supervisor.

General:

  • Ensure that all linens, towels, and uniforms are cleaned and prepared according to hotel standards.
  • Assist in the timely distribution of linens to housekeeping and other departments as required.
  • Follow proper handling procedures to minimize linen loss and extend fabric longevity.
  • Report any maintenance issues with laundry equipment to the supervisor for prompt resolution.
  • Uphold hygiene and safety protocols in the laundry and linen storage areas.

Key Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in laundry or housekeeping operations, preferably in a luxury or upscale hotel environment.
  • Basic knowledge of laundry operations, including fabric care and stain removal techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members.
