Job Purpose:
The General Manager is responsible for directing, coordinating, and overseeing the overall operations of the hotel/resort, ensuring all departments operate in alignment with the Group's mission, brand standards, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the pre-opening (if applicable), overall operations, and daily management of the hotel in line with company guidelines
• Ensure full compliance with Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts' brand standards and operational requirements
• Drive Sales & Marketing strategies to achieve targeted business performance
• Continuously develop and strengthen the hotel's business base and market positioning
• Monitor operational and financial performance, including service quality, guest satisfaction, and profitability
• Lead, develop, and motivate the team, ensuring strong employee engagement and high morale
• Maintain strong employee relations and a positive workplace culture
• Oversee guest feedback, ensuring timely resolution of issues and continuous service improvement
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including owners, partners, and the local community
• Stay updated on industry trends and implement relevant innovations within the property

Requirements:

• Strong background in international hotel brands
• Previous experience as a General Manager (upper mid-scale or above)
• Pre-opening experience is an advantage
• Strong leadership, commercial, and operational expertise
