Overview

We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator with outstanding organizational and creative skills to join the Destination Marketing Team at Laguna Phuket. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing strategy and social media management, with attention to detail.

This role's responsibilities include assisting the Director of Destination Marketing with the pull-through of marketing campaigns and creating, implementing, and managing content for social media, email marketing campaigns, and the website.

The ideal candidate should be creative, a quick learner, and possess strong communication skills and exceptional time management. She/ He will work closely with the team at Laguna Golf Phuket and other business units within Laguna Phuket. She/ He must be able to organize tasks, set priorities, meet strict deadlines, and follow up on assignments with minimal supervision. Additionally, the candidate should be able to apply creative thinking to solve problems.

We are looking for someone highly motivated, friendly, articulate and with excellent communication, computer, and writing skills. This position is based in Phuket, and prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop content that focuses on promotions, events, trends, and more for multiple social media channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the team at Laguna Golf Phuket and teams across different business units to create promotional materials and branded assets.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, relevant hashtags, and competitor activities on these platforms.
  • Support the Director of Destination Marketing in executing collaborative initiatives with KOLs and media as needed.
  • Coordinate with the graphic designer on artworks and use Canva independently.
  • Provide on-site support during events.
  • Assist the Director of Marketing with administrative tasks and any additional requirements that may arise from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (required).
  • Prior experience in the Marketing and Communications field.
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about social media, including feeds, trends, hashtags, engagement, and reach.
  • Strong understanding of various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social media, digital marketing, and email marketing.
  • High level of creativity and strong analytical skills to interpret metrics.
  • Proficient in English with strong creative writing abilities.
  • Critical thinker with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Detail-oriented and a fast learner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Facebook Business Suite, Canva, and Google Analytics.
