Technician Inspector

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Handover & Operations: Coordinate daily site handover operations and manage the project handover process efficiently.
• Quality Control: Monitor and control building construction quality to ensure alignment with the Facility Division's standards.
• Inspection & Reporting: Conduct thorough building inspections and provide detailed reports throughout the construction process within the area of expertise.
• Compliance: Ensure contractors strictly execute all construction works in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Stakeholder Relations: Establish and maintain strong, professional working relationships with architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and the public.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Building Inspector or in a related construction inspection role.
• Strong knowledge and ability to verify technical drawings and compliance standards.

Position Specific Skills

• Inspectors will ensure the proper execution of all drawings and specifications by contractors.
• Maintain & review inspection plans to adjust periodicity & task lists by following activities
• Maintain inspection procedures.
• Optimize and rationalize existing inspection plans to identify inspection class and frequency by means of risk-based inspection practices.
• Manage incoming inspection reports and assign actions required (short and long term) to be executed as a result of inspection findings. If needed, you will consult with different departments to determine the best path forward.
• Have basic knowledge of architecture.
