Part-Time Steward

Working Hours: Approximately 4-hour shifts

Role Overview:

The Part-Time Steward supports the restaurant team by keeping dishes, kitchen equipment and kitchen areas clean and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and clean dishes, utensils, containers and kitchen equipment.
• Store clean items properly.
• Keep the dishwashing and kitchen areas clean and organised.
• Empty rubbish and support waste management.
• Follow cleaning schedules.
• Assist with general cleaning of kitchen and service areas.
• Follow hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
• Support basic kitchen duties when required.
• Inform the supervisor of damaged equipment or cleaning issues.

Requirements:

• Reliable and hardworking.
• Able to work efficiently and follow hygiene procedures.
• Comfortable with physical work and standing for long periods.
• Previous restaurant experience is helpful but not essential.
• Able to work scheduled shifts, including weekends when required.
