Medical Assistant - Concierge Care

Prima Medicine, a well-established and state-of-the-art primary care practice in the Washington, D.C. metro area, is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our collaborative team at Prima Medicine Concierge Care. Our concierge practice was created to deliver an elevated, highly personalized patient experience, and we are looking for a talented, customer-focused Medical Assistant to support our concierge providers in our Fairfax office.

This role is primarily focused on back-office clinical support and plays a key part in ensuring a seamless, high-touch experience for our patients. The ideal candidate is a positive, dependable team player with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to outstanding customer service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate smooth patient flow throughout the clinic
• Triage and room patients
• Measure and record vitals in the EMR
• Draw blood, collect specimens, and process in-house labs
• Follow procedures for ordering, processing, and tracking lab work and diagnostic tests
• Prepare, clean, and stock exam rooms
• Return patient calls and provide timely, consistent clinical communication
• Coordinate medication delivery, injections, and prior authorizations
• Manage referrals and support medication/treatment workflows
• Liaise with pharmaceutical representatives for samples and supplies
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous medical assisting experience required; primary care experience preferred
• Strong computer skills; Athena EMR experience a plus
• Excellent communication abilities
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a professional presence
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and reliability

Schedule & Work Locations

• Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Occasional weekend clinic hours
• Work in our Fairfax and Tysons offices

Compensation

$21 - $25+ per hour, based on experience
