Geriatric Physician - UHealth - VA

Physician – PT/FT - Post-Acute & Long-Term Care - Virginia 

UHealth is seeking part-time or full-time Physicians to join our growing team in multiple locations throughout Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians looking for a flexible, schedule providing meaningful care to patients in post-acute and long-term care settings.

The Opportunity

As a UHealth Physician you will:

• Visit an assigned long-term care facility approximately once per week
• Conduct new patient evaluations and exams
• Collaborate closely with dedicated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Provide physician oversight and clinical guidance for acute and complex patients
• Help coordinate treatment plans and ensure continuity of care
• Work within a flexible schedule designed around your availability

Our APPs provide ongoing on-site patient care, allowing physicians to focus on new admissions, higher-acuity patients, and cases requiring physician-level evaluation and oversight.

Compensation

• $75,000–$330,000 annually, depending on the number of days worked and level of commitment
• Opportunity to tailor your schedule and workload based on your availability

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. required
• Active or eligible for Virginia medical licensure
• Board Certified/Board Eligible preferred
• Background in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Primary Care, or Geriatrics is ideal
• Interest in caring for post-acute and long-term care patients
