Phlebotomist

This thriving private concierge medical practice is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Certified Phlebotomist with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. The Certified Phlebotomist is a key member of our team, responsible for performing blood draws and preparing specimens with accuracy and professionalism. A substantial portion of the role involves the collection and processing of urine samples. Delivering exceptional customer service is crucial to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture (blood draws) while ensuring patient comfort and clear communication throughout the process
• Label and centrifuge specimens, document maintenance and decontamination, and update patient information accurately
• Collect, store, and package specimens in accordance with established protocols
• Properly store and track specimen samples and laboratory results as directed by providers
• Enter patient information into our systems in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain organized patient and specimen information logs
• Sterilize instruments and coordinate sharps disposal
• Adhere to OSHA guidelines and safety standards
• Deliver excellent service to all patients
• Provide administrative and clerical support as needed

Schedule:

• No evenings! No weekends!
• Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
• Flexibility to stay past 5:00 p.m. as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current phlebotomy certification from an accredited organization (required)
• Previous phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities
