Position Overview: As a Revenue Cycle Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete revenue cycle process, from patient registration to final payment. You will lead a team of revenue cycle professionals, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the end-to-end revenue cycle process, including patient registration, billing, coding, claims processing, and payment posting.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of revenue cycle staff, including billing specialists, coders, and collections personnel.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in revenue cycle operations.
- Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee accurate and compliant coding and billing practices, ensuring adherence to relevant standards and payer requirements.
- Develop and execute strategies to manage and reduce claim denials, including handling appeals and resolving claim issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing and collections for patient accounts while addressing patient inquiries and billing-related concerns.
- Stay updated on healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and coding practices to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support accurate documentation and effective revenue cycle management.
- Work with IT and other departments to enhance revenue cycle systems and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Certification as a Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management,
- Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
- Proficiency with revenue cycle management software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
