We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Working Supervisor to help lead our close-knit team of two providers and three staff members. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated leader who enjoys balancing team management with day-to-day operational involvement.

What You'll Do

As the Working Supervisor, you'll serve as the operational backbone of the practice—leading the team while staying actively engaged in daily workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support front and back office staff
  • Jump in to assist with front desk responsibilities as needed
  • Oversee scheduling, insurance verification, billing, credentialing and pre-authorizations
  • Educate patients on concierge services and membership options
  • Provide pricing and program quotes to patients
  • Optimize provider schedules for efficiency and flow
  • Deliver and reinforce an exceptional patient experience
  • Track and report on program and membership sales
  • Coordinate with vendors (EMR, billing, accounting, concierge platforms)
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and internal standards
  • Conduct staff training, performance reviews, and manage employee relations
  • Troubleshoot basic IT and operational issues
  • Manage office inventory and supplies
  • Handle bill pay using QuickBooks
  • Handle payroll using Paychex
  • Maintain a polished, efficient, and welcoming office environment

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of medical front office experience, supervisory experience is a plus
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to stay calm and effective under pressure
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and general computer applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for delivering outstanding patient service
  • Team-oriented with a proactive, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel)
  • Experience with QuickBooks is a plus

Position Details

  • Full-time or Part-time (3 or 4 days per week—you decide!)
  • Monday–Friday, daytime hours only
  • No nights or weekends

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 (based on experience and full-time/part-time status)
