Intimate Wellness Institute is the regions only medical center exclusively for Urogynecology, Aesthetic Gynecology, Advanced Women's Care and Menopause care. This premier Women's Health practice, located in Midlothian, VA, is seeking a Medical Assistant to join its team.

As our Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting clinical operations, ensuring smooth patient flow, and delivering outstanding care with professionalism and compassion. Were looking for a reliable team player who can multitask effectively and work independently when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rooming and triaging patients
• Managing and streamlining patient flow
• Recording vital signs and documenting information in the EMR
• Preparing, cleaning, and restocking exam rooms
• Returning patient calls and addressing clinical questions
• Coordinating medication delivery and administering injections
• Securing prior authorizations and coordinating referrals
• Handling lab orders, specimen processing, and diagnostic testing logistics
• Supporting the clinical team with other tasks, as assigned

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a medical assistant, preferred
• Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a patient-centered approach
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Schedule: Monday Friday, 830 AM-5 PM

Compensation: $18 to $23 per hour, commensurate with experience
