About the Role
We're hiring a remote Executive Finance Administrator with strong finance and HR capabilities to support a healthtech client managing operations across pharmacies and covered entities. This role is ideal for someone who has operated in startup environments and thrives in a lean, low-hour setup while delivering high-quality, reliable outcomes. The role starts immediately, pays $300/week, and requires a maximum of 5 hours per week.
Scope of Work
- Oversee bookkeeping and coordinate with tax accountants for filings and compliance
- Manage HR operations including payroll processing and documentation
- Ensure transfers and payments are completed accurately and on time between required entities
- Improve and automate manual financial and HR workflows
- Deliver regular operational and financial updates to the leadership team
- Act as point of contact with accounting partners and support year-end reporting
What Were Looking For
- 2-5+ years of experience in administrative, finance, or HR roles, with direct experience in a startup (preferably in healthtech, fintech, or tech-enabled environments)
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping, payroll, and multi-entity cash flow management
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote, low-touch environment
- Proficiency with finance, HR, or automation tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Gusto, Excel, Zapier, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and proactive issue resolution
- Highly organized, self-directed, and process-driven with a tech-forward mindset

This is a 1099 contract role. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and business expenses. Sam facilitates placement, onboarding, payroll, and client relationship management.
