We are hiring a Backend Developer to join the tech team of an innovative Private Equity boutique. Key Responsibilities:

  • API Development: Design and manage RESTful APIs to support backend services.

  • AI-Powered Features: Develop AI-based assistants to automate workflows and enhance user personalization, using API integrations (e.g., ChatGPT/Gemini).

  • Scalability & Performance: Ensure the platform is highly scalable, secure, and optimized for performance, particularly in handling large datasets.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Engineering and Data Scientist to align on development sprints and product roadmaps.

Required Skills:

  • Backend Development: Proficient in server-side languages such as Python or Java Node.js, PHP with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.

  • AI Solutions: Experience with AI APIs (ChatGPT/Gemini) and implementing AI-driven workflows.

  • Database Management: Expertise in managing large datasets, optimizing database performance (SQL, NoSQL), and handling data efficiently.

  • Containerization & Cloud: Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for containerized application development and deployment.

  • Experience building systems that involve rewards, leaderboards, and user engagement mechanics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 Years of Experience as a software engineer with a proven track record of delivering valuable projects

  • Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments or startups.

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

  • Experience in financial markets or fintech applications is a bonus
