Overview
We are seeking a Regional Sales Representative with a competitive mindset who can thrive in a fast-paced sales cycle. The position will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and revenue growth in the Dominican Republic & Puerto Rico regions through generating interest, qualifying leads, and closing sales with channel partners. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with making numerous calls daily. We are looking for an individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills who embodies our organization-wide values of integrity, quality, teamwork, innovation, and leadership.
Core Responsibilities
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
Understand customer needs and requirements
Manage and develop a book of clients; these are integrators who have bought from us in the past, or are prospects who are prospects for onboarding as new partners
Collaborate effectively with Engineering and Solutions reps to ensure technical positioning and solution is sound and viable
Travel as required into the region and manage existing and new client ecosystem
Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
Work effectively with marketing team to fine tune lead generation, social media activity, and customer approach in your defined region
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
Perform effective online demos to prospects
Basic Qualifications
2+ years sales and technical experience in physical security
Experience and credibility in Physical Security Industry
Proven technology sales experience
Track record of over-achieving quota
Strong phone and video presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
Experience working with CRM system
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong listening and presentation skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
BA/BS degree or equivalent is desired
Strong Customer Service and Sales Skillset
A Closer: A sales resource adept at negotiating and closing deals
Comfortable presenting in person or virtually
The ability to convey excitement and energy in virtual and recorded sessions
Energetic and self-motivated individual who works effectively with a team
An ambitious resource with the desire to grow and contribute in an evolving team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English a must
