Job Summary:
Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, care for patients, and maintain records in a hospital or clinical setting. Requires a strong understanding of radiologic technology and patient care skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Diagnostic Imaging Equipment: Perform x-rays, CT scans, MRIs, or mammograms to produce images of a patient's tissues, organs, bones, and vessels for diagnostic purposes.
- Patient Care and Safety: Ensure patient comfort and safety, following established radiologic requirements and regulations.
- Preparing Patients: Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, answer technical questions, and offer pre-procedure advice.
- Maintaining Equipment: Adjust and maintain radiologic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Record Keeping: Keep patient records and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Education: Typically an Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Medical Radiologic Technology/Science.
- Licensure: Authentic license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in Japan.
- Experience: Preferably 3-5 years of experience in radiology, especially in private or public hospitals.
- Skills: Strong knowledge and expertise in radiology, including x-ray, CT scan, ultrasound, and other medical equipment.
