Job Title: Procurement Engineer

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a skilled Procurement Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the UAE construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing procurement processes for construction projects, working with local suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for construction projects

- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors

- Prepare and review RFQs, BOQs, and technical/commercial comparisons

- Ensure timely procurement of materials in line with project schedules

- Coordinate with project, engineering, and commercial teams

- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contract terms

- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation

Requirements:

- Minimum 7 years of procurement experience in the UAE construction industry

- Proven experience working with main contractors

- Strong knowledge of local suppliers, subcontractors, and market conditions

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills

- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office

Preferred Skills:

- Strong analytical and cost control abilities

- Familiarity with UAE construction standards and regulations

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
