Senior Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Understanding Software Requirements
• Analyze SW Requirements and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements
• Creation of test specifications, and execution of tests (unit/integration test in case of software development, integration/system tests in case of SW quality control)
• Coordination with the architecture team
• Perform the required type of functional and non-functional testing (smoke, functional, regression, UAT) to ensure high-quality standards are implemented
• Perform API-level tests (Manual and Automated) using tools & frameworks (Postman/Swagger).
• Participate in the full SDLC (Agile), including meetings, iterative development, and analysis
• Collaborate with business development teams to understand product vision and requirements
• Work within a team of quality engineering professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality products
• Create readable test reports and coordinate with stakeholders
• Follow software engineering best practices (code standards, code Review, source control management, build process, testing, and operations)
• Design, develop and execute manual and automated tests for Web applications and mobile platforms
• Design and writing test automation scripts is a plus.
• Mentor other people
• Able to build a relationship with the client
• Able to understand priorities and make decision
• Planning/Breakdown of work packages (assignments) and following up on them
• SW design of your component/module /test suite

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related field
• 4-7 years of experience in software quality assurance
• Familiarity with agile and waterfall software development methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Strong collaboration skills and desire to work within a team
• Strong organizational & communication skills
• Possibility of travel if needed to do testing on site
• In-depth understanding of technical documentation
• Excellent time management skills
• Self-Learning for innovative technology and certificates
• Good verbal and written communication in English
• Telecom experience is a plus
