Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Health Information Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health information management and a passion for improving patient care through accurate and efficient record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and analyze patient records for accuracy and completeness

- Enter and update patient information into electronic health record systems

- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to health information management

- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records

- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping

- Assist with audits and quality assurance processes

- Provide support and training to staff on proper record-keeping procedures

- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in health information management

Qualifications:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field

- At least 2 years of experience in health information management or medical records

- Proficiency in electronic health record systems

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Ability to work independently and remotely

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and other relevant laws and regulations

Contract Details:

This is a part-time position, with the potential for full-time hours in the future. The schedule is flexible and can be discussed during the interview process. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from home. Compensation will be competitive and based on experience.
