DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER/ TECHNICIAN DESIGN MECHANICS

Our client, an engineering and technology information services company is looking for a Development Engineer / Technician Design Mechanics. The vacancy is located in Blauberen, Germany to start immediately. The Development Engineer / Technician Design Mechanics will have the following key responsabilities and tasks

• Development of project-related concepts and design solutions for our products
• Creation and support of 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks
• Drawing and parts list creation, checking and approval
• Cost and quality optimisation of our products through constructive deadline monitoring
• Reporting on status and cost framework

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer or technician or a comparable qualification
• 1 year experience working in similar role or if you are recently graduated you must have completed an internship in the field of engineering
• Good CAD skills (ideally SolidWorks/MaxxDB) and MS Office
• Knowledge of process engineering, harmful gas disposal and media supply (desirable)
• Willingness to travel approx. 10%
• Goal-orientated, flexible, motivated and team-oriented
• Fluent English (writen and spoken) is mandatory and German is a Plus
