Administrator
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrator to support the smooth running of office and warehouse operations. The role requires proficiency in MS Office, basic knowledge of accounting software, and at least 2-3 years of experience in administration and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Telesales: Engage with clients and provide product or service information.
- Order Processing: Generate and process customer and supplier orders.
- Drafting of Quotes: Prepare accurate quotes for clients as required.
- Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering through the Procurement Manager, and maintain accurate records.
- Dispatch: Generate route sheets, check orders, and assist with loading vehicles when necessary.
- Receiving of Stock/Credits: Handle incoming stock, verify deliveries, and process credit notes.
- Accounts Receivable: Assist with invoicing, payments, and reconciling accounts.
- Documentation: Scan and file all PODs, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Reporting: Prepare basic reports as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Matric (Grade 12) required; certificate/diploma in Administration, Accounting, or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years experience in administration and accounts receivable.
- Systems:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic knowledge of accounting software
- ERP system experience advantageous
